Witchery - Coven Witches (Question)

So, I'm playing a custom pack on the FTB launcher, that includes witchery of course. I'm looking to summon an imp, and when I try, it tells me I need more coven members. Naturally, I want a coven now. I've bound a frog as a familiar, and also infused the infusion of life on myself. Still, the witches I've spawned as test subjects refuse to accept me help

What do they tell you when you try to talk to them? What version of witchery?

I believe it's the latest version, as it includes the magic mirror.

Examples:

"you do not interest me!"
"Why do you waste my time!"
"You are not skilled in the art!"

cant say i know what could be up. Possible mod conflict possibly? Try dismissing the familiar and rebind it i guess? It seems like a strange bug that you get those messages if you have a familiar and the infusion

Strange. I'll probably just spawn in the imps, because I have the items, just not the coven.
