I don't know if I am the only person who does this but I have ATLauncher, Technic AND FTB installed. And I use them all to browse and download modpacks.

And then I copy out the mods and config into a vanilla forge profile and use the vanilla launcher to actually launch and play. Not because I in any way prefer the vanilla launcher's UI, but because it lets me keep all my modpacks, vanilla and modded, in one bloody place.

So I would really REALLY like it if the many MANY Minecraft launchers, managed their instances using the vanilla format, so I could keep all my minecraft games in a single place.

Thanks.

Curse voice kinda does this, actually. You can make a pack and just drop all the contents from the modpack from the desired launcher into the mod folder/ configure folder/ wherever. It also uses the vanilla launcher.
