So I just decided to get into Power Armor, I got the GUI...thingy for it and when crafting the most basic, the Wiring, I get this:

I checked, and the shifting recipes all have Thermal Expansion's ingots there, and yet it wont craft!

How do I fix this?

(I now realize this may be the wrong section for this kind of trouble)

I just did some tests and it I think the configs for powersuits must be messed up. It works if you use the industrial craft one. The configs have changed a couple of times for power suits.

Thanks for moving it Vauthill.

Totte so unless somebody says otherwise I would report it as a bug. The config for modular powersuits does say that is supposed to use thermal expansion recipes. What seems weird to me though is that when you view the recipe it says Json Shaped, never seen that before, in the crafting grid.

Looks like the middle piece is lead, not silver. Might just be a silver texture I don't recognise, but it's worth a try to check.

No the thing I looked at was from machine muse's github and was java programming not a config thing. One way to check would be be to use version 1.0.6 of the pack and try and craft them. I would do it but I have a customized pack and don't want to re-add everything.

In the config it is set to allow the use of thermal expansion recipes so I can only guess that the 1.0.7 may have done something.

Damnit... Cant there be a hotfix or something?

I HATE the IC2 crafting of it, its expensive!

Just here to say I'm looking for the fix to this as well... D20's 1.6.4, 1.0.11 (as well as whatever the previous version was)

No way am I touching IC just for this :p but my issue is exactly like totte's screenshots. Both TE and IC recipes are enabled in the config.

Perhaps a way to fix this would be to change the configs yourself.

The line to look for would be "B:"Vanilla Recipes"=false" and change it to true. This is from version 11 of the DW20 pack

Oh, in case your wondering where the config is, it's under machinemuse/powersuits.cfg

Tried enabling ONLY vanilla recipies to true, and disable the Thermal one and it still doesnt work :/

Also tried only having Thermals version on true, did not work either :/

Looking into it a bit further and all I can tell you is recipes are messed up at a coding level at the moment. In other words, IC2 stuff is the only way to craft it until MachineMuse fixes things. It's a known problem. IC2 recipes are more expensive yes but that's all you have at the moment.

It's not that they're more expensive, it's that you have to go through IC2 to get them.

Either or, there currently isn't a way to craft them besides. Perhaps if you tried downgrading MPS to a lesser version? No idea if you can however. Personally I haven't used MPS since 1.4.7.
