Windows .exe Windows 8

hi guys,
I'm from Germany so my english is not very good. I've got one question. Does it work on Windows 8 too? If i try it the patcher downloads the modpack, but don't start minecraft it only stops. Thx for help

Need more information. Does regular minecraft work?

Now it works. The problem was that java installed 32bit and I want to play mit 4gb ram and for that you need java 64bit now I installed it and everything works.

Well that's good! You should always try to find the matching bit-type for your operating system.
