I have windows 8, and Java 64 bit. When ever I attempt to load-up a pack, it doesn't load, and I get an error going '64x cannot be found'. If anyone can explain why this is happening, and how I can solve it, that would be very helpful! (this happens with all packs; not exclusively to 1.6.4

Just remove both versions and install a fresh 64 bit java from java.com.
Oh and just fyi, this has probably nothing to do with Windows 8. My Windows 8 is running fine with the FTB modpacks. You may hate that OS sure, but using personal opinions as a title of your support thread isn't really useful ;-)

Sorry, Im new to this whole thing. I needed a title, and windows 8 had just been really anoying
I just uninstalled all my javas, and reinstalled 64x, yet i still have the same problem
Any other suggestions?
A new log could be helpful. Also are you installing the wrong version? Because it looks like to me you install a version meant for servers.

Make sure you uninstall the other versions and restart before installing new ones. Also, should not be a problem running both 32bit and 64bit java on the same machine. I do it on Win8, and java even recommends it when using a 32bit browser (which your probably are).

It can cause problems having both since the launchers recent updates. It will say server in the information.

You still have other java versions there. Please remove all the versions you have and install the latest x64 one from here.

What is listed for Java in programs that are installed. It should only be Java Update 45 64bit and nothing else.
The line below is still listed in your log. Check the x86 programs folder to make sure that nothing from java is there.

can you please go to your Programs and Features (located in Control Panel\Programs\Programs and Features), scroll down to J and see if you have anything under java, uninstall all of them
don't just leave one, get rid of all of them, now reboot your computer

If you have a 32 bit computer, download the Windows x86 Offline file
If you have a 64 bit computer, download the Windows x64 with the download labelled: jre-7u45-windows-x64.exe
If you dont know your version, open control panel and navigate to Control Panel\System and Security\System
it should say your version under System Type
Run the install file
Once done reboot once again
Now run the FTB Launcher, please repost the log. Even if it looks the same, there may be some differences.
I've done this 3 times now, and each time its the same difference.
Is there anything else that could be broken?
are you sure you have a 64 bit computer? because the bit at the end might indicate you have a 32 bit computer in which you must use 32 bit java instead
