Why won't my this laser/assembly table work?

This is the 1st time i've tried to use an assembly table, but it won't do anything. The redstone energy cell is outputting 100mj/t (at least it should, at the moment its outputting 0). I've made sure to put the ingredients in the table, select the recipe I want in the GUI, etc, so I know its something wrong with the setup, but what? (I raised the table in case it was too far away from the lasers, but as you can see it makes no difference).

The cell does not have an output. The redstone conduit on cell is pointing the wrong way.

As above... The conduit leading to the lasers from the redstone cell isn't set to output from the energy cell. Whack the conduit with a crescent hammer / omni wrench until it turns orange, and you should be good to go.
