Hey all, sorry if this is the wrong area but it doesn't seem like a "bug", so much as me just being an idiot. So what am I doing wrong? :(

I had a 3x3 multifarm originally, and decided upon learning that force sapling scan produce epic levels of biofuel, and the squeezed logs can produce epic levels of liquid force, to expand me farm to a 5x5 (which the wiki lists as an option on size)

HOWEVER, my smelly farm will only plant 3 blocks on each corner. I may be missing something obvious, but google searches have provided me with answers that don't seem to be helping (ie: are surrounding blocks the wrong type? has it got enough room? etc)

Attached is a screenshot which hopefully someone smart can suss out the obvious mistake I have made.

Thanks in advance, and feel free to move this thread if there is a more appropriate area for it :p

Edit: It is being powered by 1 force engine, using water as a boost. I am planning to use milk if the power isn't enough, but so far it's been over the top already on the 3x3 version. There are no redstone levels/signals touching any part of any farm block (checked after seeing this as a possible on google search)

Could we see the UI of the multifarm? Only things that comes to mind is : No fertilizer, Not enough Water, No dirt to plant (Humus for tree's? I don't use multifarms, to quirky and with dartpatch you don't need em).

Or....
are there invisible blocks aobve the stone bricks? Just build blocks all over the stone bricks and take them down. This fixes the invisible blocks problem thingy

Here's a screenshot of the UI. Also included one of the farm setup below. I just removed ALL the stone brick, checked under it. It is sat on a bed of cobble/smooth only, no stonebrick below to confuse it. I guess next will be my attempts to remove the farm itself and replace it. As for invisible blocks, I've been walking all over that area and not run into anything. Ontop of this, when my friend had missed some stone out of his, his multifarm planted every OTHER available space but mine wont do anything except the corners :(

Edit: Please note, it is harvesting and replanting those 12 corner trees without a problem :/ Just wont plant a SINGLE other tree anywhere, or any dirt/humus blocks (please note it's full of dirt, not humus :p)

I FIXED IT! It appears that adding the extra blocks around my old farm and moving only the bottom ones around left it believing it was still a baby farm, not realising it had grown up. So I had to dismantle ALL blocks (please note I'd broken a lot of them off at once already >.<) and now SHE LIVES!

I guess this thread can be closed...thanks for suggestions everybody :)

I had the same thing happen. Did you upgrade from a 3x3 like I did ?

I had a 3x3 multifarm originally, and decided upon learning that force sapling scan produce epic levels of biofuel, and the squeezed logs can produce epic levels of liquid force, to expand me farm to a 5x5 (which the wiki lists as an option on size)

Yes, you did. The problem is the farm still think it's 3x3. To solve this, you have to take out the "core" of the farm. In any MC multi-block structure, the state of the multi-block is typically kept in a single block. In a Forestry Multifarm, this seems to be one of the blocks in the middle column. So, try this:

1. Remove all item inputs
2. Remove all items from the farm, including the circuit board (you will lose it otherwise)
3. Take a pickaxe and remove all blocks from the center (core) going straight down
4. Put them back
5. Put back circuit board and all items

It should then think it's a 5x5 farm.

Oh, wait....

I FIXED IT!

Great ! I'm leaving my post here, though, since it explains perhaps an easier way rather than a complete re-build.
