So I try to join my friends server and is says thaumcraft, twighllight foreset, railcraft, and steves carts are all missing. they are not though. PLEASE HELP!!!

According to the pastebin log, you do have the listed mods. My guess is a version mismatch, update both client and server to the latest version of (whatever modpack you're using.)

How do I do this because I have deleted the client and java multiple times and then redownloaded it. How Do you update the server though?

Depends on how you have your server set up. Are you hosting it or are you going through a hosting company? I really don't have specifics for you as I usually do not Play SMP.

My friend hosts it just right off his computer. He port forwards also if that helps

Have him copy his mod folder and config folder and send it to you.
