Why is it so slow?

Details of the issue:
Hi, I've just started playing mods, i find them very beautyfull.
My issue is linked to the performance of my PC. I've 4 Gb of total ram and i gave the FTB launcher 2GB of ram but every time i want to play a modpaxk, such as Infinity Skyblock, it always takes 20 minutes to load the mods and i cant move my charachter so it starts lagging and minecraft die D:

I don't know nothing about the permformance of computers so I ask you help.

You'd have to write down all the specs of your PC, raw memory volume is not everything.

In modded MC the CPU and RAM are the most important things. 4GB is what is recommended for most packs. Which means that you do not have enough RAM and are not able to allocate 4GB because your OS needs RAM too. But I'd like to know what CPU you have.
