Out of all the mod packs I downloaded I lag so much. I estimate the FPS is 1-3 this lag is soo bad. I haven't played any of the mod packs because of the lag. It is immediate lag. I turned my render distance to tiny and graphics to fast. I even turned off all animations and still 1-3 FPS the RAM is 2.25 GB and my laptop has 4 GB of ram and 3.89 is usable. Any help with stopping this lag? This lag also effects me in single player and multiplayer. Even when in the main menu I'm lagging so much.

You can have all the ram in the world. FPS is determined by the video card. If that card is crappy, sucky FPS will follow. How much FPS do you get in Vanilla?

My graphics card is sometimes called "Piece of shit" I'm using a Intel® HD Graphics card

On Vanilla I used Optifine to fix the big lag I had. If I didn't use Optifine then I would have the worlds biggest lag.

No, FPS NOT determined solely by the video card, Minecraft is actually mostly CPU bound.

Make sure advanced open-gl is turned on if it isn't. You could try to add java to the list of programs for your video card to control, if possible, to see if that helps.

edit: Oh, I don't think Intel on-board video has that kind of option for the second part of what I said.

What are your CPU specs? I have friend who has Intel HD graphics and he can play the Direwolf pack just fine, but he has a newer computer (the Intel HDs get faster and faster so if you have a newer one you should be able to play fine).

I think it's your CPU and your GPU, but you should be getting better then 1-3 FPS. You have Optifine installed right? If so try uninstalling it, if you haven't already.

I installed Optifine and it got a little bit better now it's 4-7 still so laggy and makes the game unplayable.

Awesome, I'm glad it worked. Fully playable I hope? What pack are you using? Just to let you know I've had much better FPS in the Direwolf pack then the Ultimate pack.
