why can't I make a lapis blocks?

it didn't tell me how to even do it, not even the recipe for the compressor

Call me crazy, but aren't lapis blocks exclusive to the ones you mine from obelisks in Twilight Forest and not something you can make in a crafting grid or with a machine? For some reason that's standing out as a thing to me.

only thing i can think of it to force-update the pack and don't backup configs :/ that might mess stuff up if you have mods you have implemented yourself though.....and don't forget to backup your world...

This happened to me once. I was on Ultimate pack, and all I did was change the Greg tech recipes to easy. But I couldn't make any blocks (metals/lapis) either by hand or compressor. Changing the config didn't help for me. Somehow Greg has multiple config that does the same thing in several places, like DoctorOr said.

So what I did was download Velotican's config, and cut and paste his greg tech config to mine. And voila, normal vanilla behaviour. I can haz blocks again. Hope this works for you.

For what it's worth, I believe the section of the gregtech config you'd look for to fix this is in RecipesAdvancedConfig.cfg under storageblockcrafting, which is near the bottom. I had this problem when I first started up Ultimate, and I think I fixed it by changing those config settings.
