why can't I join my new server

I can't join my server, even when I upgraded my server, it didn't work

we need more information other then "it dont work."

What is your client/server version? what error messages are you getting? post your minecraft logs from both server and client.

You're going to have to provide more details before anyone can help. For starters, describe what you see when you try to join and it fails. And we need to know what kind of server you have. Hosted locally? Same machine as the client? Rental service?

Umm, basic advice, make sure you're using localHost to join it and not your IP?

That screwed me over the first time I made a server.

Also, go to imgur.com (or some other site that does the same thing) and click upload. Find the picture and then upload it, and then once it's done send us the imgur link with the picture.

It should look something like this:

btw, the crash log screen that pops up from your client doesn't help.
