Which gravestones? ExtUtil?
I remember the gravestones mod had a function where you could right click with a shovel to get your loot back.

"why aren't Graves harvestable in Adventurem ode"
You know what the "Adventure mode" is right?
It's a vanilla mode that takes away your ability to mine/place blocks.
So it's supposed to be that you can't mine the Grave. even tho the Adventure mode in 1.7.10 is not fully Functional.
last Question, why do you play in Adventure mode in the first palce?

If only adventure mode did work like that. Mostly however, it doesn't.

well, as i said. in the 1.7.10 version it's not working all the time.
but it seems to work very good in 1.8 and higher

Adventure mode does not control the placement of blocks afaik, and only restricts block breaking on the use of the correct tools. As such, as soon as the player gets an axe, adventure mode becomes indistinguishable from survival mode as the player can chop down a tree and craft the remaining tools required to harvest anything that can be harvested in survival.

I don't think proxy_player is disputing the problems/effectiveness with the mode, just pointing out what its theoretically for.

uhh, i tested it and you can't break anything in Adventure mode, no matter what tool you have. it's specially made for Advanture maps, not for Regular Playing.

I see this is now true. You need to explicitly whitelist blocks that the player can break. Using, I don't know actually how or what would be used to do that.

simple, you need to use the Give command to give the player a Tool that can mine Specific things.
/give @p iron_pickaxe 1 0 {CanDestroy:["Block name"]}

or you can give blocks that can only be placed ontop of Specific blocks.
/give @p emerald_block 1 0 {CanPlaceOn:["Block name"]}

but Tools alone won't be so good in a Adventure map, they could break, and Unbreaking 9001 won't look so good.
/give @p iron_pickaxe 1 0 {Unbreakable:1}

this should cover your Question. any more?
