Which logic gate do i need?

Very stupid question, because i did this once already, but i can't for the life of me figure it out now. I want to operate a set of 4 sticky pistons with 2 levers, essentially i want both levers to turn them on/off regardless of whether one or both levers are on (if that makes any sense).

Which gate do i need?

OR Gate. Using a XOR gate means having both levels on = no signal.

It's XOR. That will change the state of the pistons regardless of the previous state of both levers. OR will not change the state if one the levers is on and you turn the other on.

Yep, XOR. I would've thought to use a few Pulse Formers with a few NOT gates (AKA Redstone Torches,) but XOR definitely works more simply.
