We don't care if there is lots of mods. Also we enjoy the "tech" part of mods, like IC2, etc. Thanks !!

Oh! I get to cross post this again!

I like Running Red. It sends a message, which is something most packs fail to do. It's a quick play, and very fun. It's mechanics are different than all the modern packs, and it's a real nice change. At first, there is some grind, but Gideon does a good job of changing it up. If you make the trip to the island, making all the blocks, there's a large supply of blocks there for you to use. You spend the time making the lava the hard way, he provides an easier way to do it. Everything you do is rewarded with a better and faster way to do it.

And I cannot make enough of an emphasis on the story. Running Red makes such an effort on telling a story, it's something that is rivalled by nothing else in the MC community. It's jam-packed *wink wink* with symbolism, and even if you don't see it all (I didn't), it's an amazing experience. And meanwhile, you're treated to new and refreshing ways to do things with new and interesting mods that are rarely shown by the other available packs.

TL;DR, it's definitely worth the download, and deserves it's place as a listed pack.

I would recommend Agrarian skies, Its more fun with more people.
If not a survival style map, hatpack is a good bet, nice selection of mods and an amazing official sever

I second-recommend Test Pack Please Ignore, although TPPI is a rather large pack and has a considerable performance hit compared to some other packs ~ failing that, you could always try the Direwolf20 pack. These packs (TPPI and DW20) have a sort of "jack of all trades" deal to them ~ the packs have a little bit of everything in them. Though I will say, TPPI does have some considerable extras over the DW20 pack, including (but not limited to) a balanced and non-intrusive GregTech (what), EnderIO & Mekanism, the Ars Magica 2 1.2 update and some various overall balance fixes (ie: Steve's Factory Manager, DartCraft, ore generation, etc). Give it a try! ;D

I think Lite, for tps reasons, you need a good server to run monster for 4 people.. But lite doesn't have that problem

The pack you craft for yourself out of the must-have mods for each of the players. Fill in the gaps with utility stuff.

How many times do we cross-reference this :P

*coughs* Let it End has just become publicly available... I highly suggest it ;)
Seriously though, it has got some magic which you have to do to progress, but it also has a lot of tech.
It is a Skyblock HQM pack... which is in open alpha... and you know what that means? You don't like a certain aspect (needing X item to make Y machine) then YOU CAN TELL ME, and I will take suggestions like that into consideration :)
