where do i get a lot of uranium?!

I've been watching youtubers and they someone produce hundreds of ultimate solars and im thinking, "where the hell do they get all of that uranium?!"

i know u can do it with bees, but im not too experienced with bees so i would have no idea how to tackle that. any other ways?

Have your quarries running constantly and at relatively high power(30-40MJ/t). In the end that will give you plenty of uranium. Playing in single player so no constantly running quarries on server and not really been super attentive about placing them again, but still got 5k uranium now.

I set up 2 max size at the time. Its relatively easy since you can set them up quite fast next to each other.

Bees are the way to go. Takes a bit of breeding, and automation, but once you get there, you can have as many of the bees going as you want, for free, effortless uranium.

Or almost any other resource for that matter.

bees, modified for max productivity and lifespan. put in an alveary with 6-8 frame housings and feed them untreated housings. this will get you a steady supply. bite the bullet man, bees can help big time with hard to get ores and gems.

When I was trying to crank out my first few Ultimates, I did a lot of flying around the landscape with my jetpack and spelunking into any cave or canyon that I could find, digging out any exposed uranium, and then moving on. Depending on how far and long you're willing/able to fly, This technique can help you top off your uranium supplies if you just need a few more and your quarry isn't cutting it. Of course, I second bees as not only the best method to get mass amounts of uranium, but also as a thing that you should strongly consider getting into. Even if it's just fooling around in creative to get the gist of the mechanics, or making the grind to get Imperial/Industrious bees just once, it's a experience worth having, IMO.

I agree. For one, doing enough caving/quarrying will give you enough Uranium for about 3-5 Ultimate Hybrids. Then going down the Bees route to get the Uranium is definitely your best bet. For one, you'll no longer need to go caving or quarrying for that Uranium, and it's a better source of uranium for later when you've exhausted all nearby sources underground.

Of course, there is the occasional Spoils Bag you could try, but it's beyond rare to get Uranium from one, so it's not exactly a stable source.

solves your UU matfab amplifier problems too, when you get a Fusion Reactor.

In Unleashed(+Gregtech), one bee with frames produced enough uranium to support 6 Matter Fabricators running off 24 Fusion Generators.
