When you close FTB Minecraft, make launcher stay open.

This would be a good idea if you want to switch between packs easily or do a quick restart of the game. Mystcraft currently has a memory leak bug and I have to restart Minecraft every 10-15 'jumps'

I am just using MultiMC for now because that has the functionality I'm asking for here.

I would have to disagree with this suggestion, as by my understanding it wouldn't be as simple as stated.
(Heck, not even the Technic team has done it)

When you launch an instance in MultiMC, it stays on in the background, and when you close Minecraft, you can immediately choose another instance. With FTB, I have to start it back up.

Though, maybe the FTB launcher is fundamentally different, but it seems possible.

you can start the FTB launcher while minecraft is running, why not just start it as you close your first instance?

i have actually tried to do this, however it isn't as simple as just keep it open in the background. because java XD

i have been thinking about the best way to do this, i've come up with a few ways, watch this space
