When is the modpack update?

hi guys i know its not sure when the modpack update is but i have a few questions:

how long can it take(1 month, 2 months) and will there mod be removed from the modpack so that the servers have to reset their map?

Not until 1.6 most likely from the vast amount of information that is available on the forums alone. There is a test pack for 1.5 but it's just for testing, not for a serious play session.
