When i get bored of a world, mmmh.

Usually when i reach the point where lag gets too bad for me to play on it.
Either re-make most of my things with less lag, or create a new world.

When there are technical aspects to which I have to use lame stuff to get over or when I cannot decide on a design.

Usually it's the latter. The more stuff you have, the harder it is to properly integrate new systems. It's getting really challenging right now.

I usually get bored when I build something that gets me a ton of resources passively and I don't know what to do with it all. Like in my last survival world, I built a self-sustaining atomic science fusion reactor that powered 8 laser drills and 8 mass fabs which got me tons of stuff without me actually doing anything.
When I get bored, I take a break and come back later. Sometimes this means playing on a server or starting a new world, sometimes this just means going and doing something different for a change. Usually doing something different means going on some sort of adventure in the overworld, TF, pocket dimension, or a mystcraft age. I don't usually quit my world unless some new mod comes out that I really want to play with.

I usually get bored almost the moment I build a processing center for my quarry and get acceptable power to the quarry. The world just tanks from there.

Been playing 5 months and have had 4 different worlds, have not been able to get to a point where I got bored before the world crashed and we had to reset. Did get one world to a point that i had 90 hv solars and a mass fab, so it was kind of boring not having to worry about resources at all. After that hurtle it comes down to designing something 'cool', to me anyway. Then its about learning something new, like right now im working on thaumcraft.

Id think if I knew all the mods and had designed a big base and had no more desire for resources, id quit at that point and start over.

I used to get bored in worlds.. Until I started placing limits on myself and challenges. Like build a village in a specific style, with a section for farming, animal pens, a miners house, a smithy house, etc etc. It makes it alot more fun and challenging

See I also get bored when I have too many resources but I play on a server and I'm a mod so we can always build something for the server like a maze, casino, battle field and cities are my favorite ! Try playing on a server ! The competition drives you forward!!

I get bored when I run out of things to automate, and I have a stable inventory, meaning all the input from my automated processes can be handled without overflowing my system even if ran indefinately. I haven't had this happen recently as I have wanted to upgrade to a new minecraft version before I actually obtained my automation goals.

If I add in forestry trees and bees, it could take me a while to get through everything.

If I really have a world I like I won't get bored for a VERY long time. Usually a month or two with a couple hours of gameplay a day. But that's only if I REALLY like the world. If a world is one I would get bored of, I ditch it within a day or two, typically because of the seed.

I personally like to become overpowered with top/endgame tier stuff as fast as possible.

I find things like Thaumcraft, Mystcraft, and Twilight Forest more interesting/fun/useful before you have a Gravity Suit and Vajra. But I'll never change my ways. A gravity chestplate is still the first thing I go for. lol

I get to this point, and then I can try a new modpack. lol

I tend to start a new world, spend most of my waking hours in it for around a week or so, then quit for a few weeks before making a new world. Going through the early game repeatedly is not a problem for me, as there's generally a dozen different ways to achieve any goals in FTB, and I like building different styles of base from scratch. I'm the same in other games - I'll start an RPG thirty times to make different party combinations, but only two or three of those saves will make it to the end of the game.

When I get frustrated, I go exploring in the Twilight Forest. It's the rare place that challenges my MPS and puts a halt on my Dartcraft drill.

That usually clears the head or breaks the monotony.

That is one of the things I am looking forward to once I get GraviSuit. I might test the possibility of MPS, since I can easily afford both. It would be cool to have an armory room with all your gear + portals.

Will I need potions to make it through most of TF? That is another project I should probably complete if I need them.

They help, slightly. TF is just a female canine to deal with at times. I tried the other day to mine maze stone with a dc drill and it disappeared for about 5 minutes and didn't break the block. The mobs can swarm like a super hostile map. Many of their attacks either fully or partially negate your mod armor so be careful.
