I found this near my house. Some kind of instability is eating the blocks that surround it. it would suck you to the center and kill you. I don't know what is it.
What is the mod?

My guess... very nasty thaumcraft node should be centered in there...you CAN destroy it but yeah...it can be rough

It's a hungry node, cheat in some thaumcraft goggles and look

I was talking to Flipz and he told me about Hungry Nodes, basically they eat you, the world, and your items. Stay away.

The best way to deal with Hungry Nodes is to use the Excavation Focus so you do not need to get close to it. Also it is a good idea to keep some flying device on you so that you can escape from them in the future. They are fairly rare though, so don't worry that much.

They only store up to 8 different aspect types, and only up to a certain amount of each. Plus the only viable way to use it for those compound aspects is to break the node and get the wispy essences, making it non-renewable.
