I get that it was overpowered as all getgo in 1.5.x, but the author has taken another turn since 1.6 and really balanced it out. I don't see why it can't go into Monster's modpack at least.
Yeah, just as Padfoote said, Monster is slowpoke's next FTB Challenge map first; the fact that it has plenty of big name good mods is a secondary benefit.I get that it was overpowered as all getgo in 1.5.x, but the author has taken another turn since 1.6 and really balanced it out. That being said, I used the 1.5.X branch, and it was fairly well balanced honestly. The balancing was good, and not just throwing down the nerf hammer as I feared it would be. But still, it was fairly well balanced in the 1.5.X branch, and now is even better balanced. Unlike TiCo which is just as powerful now, if not more, as it was during 1.5.X and just as powerful, if not more, then DartCraft was at the time.
Wait, I thought the PAX map was the challenge map? Well, thinking about it that does feel kinda cheap.Monster is going to be used for the next FTB map. If slowpoke doesn't want it for the map, it won't be added to the pack.

I know as much as everyone else here.
Is that averaged across the entire population or an aggregate total of the knowledge held by all the membership combined?
Even with the Time Upgrade, it's not that much more powerful then other mods; doubly so since recent updates have allowed one to change the level at when one can access that upgrade(still defaults to tier 3), and at time upgrade launch one could tweak the whole damn thing, including turning it totally off, or even just specific places you can apply it.Agree. Assuming you disable the Time upgrade (a very recent addition), then Dartcraft is in line with all the other mods. At the same time it offers so much with machines, autocrafting, all the cool looking building blocks etc. that I really don't understand, why it isn't included in more mod packs.
Lack of the spoils bag? You must mean this in terms of the fact that it isn't enabled by default as a normal drop for mobs now(unlike before where it was), and it was changed to make the treasure upgrade better balanced and still worth using AFAIK.~Snip~
The lack of spoils bags is actually a bit of a relief tbh. A combination of useless junk and incredibly rare dungeon loot as a regular mob drop is a bit silly. Useful for farming oblivion frames while bee breeding but other than that it's a bit broken.
