What Type of Piping Do I Need?

So I have a chest that feeds into my industrial centrifuge but it takes to long for the items to be processed so the items get shot everywhere. So what piping only allows items to go if the centrifuge is empty?

you got two paths for this.

1) BC you can use logic gates to contorl when you pull items form chests.
2) RP since RP system only send things when there is a vaild place for them to go stuff will not shot out.

RP Redpower its a mod. It uses numatic tubes instead of pipes. Its its own thing and as such has it own way of doing things.

Sorting and Item moving basicly has two main camps (plus three others) Buldcraft thats the pipes and Redpower thats the tubes. Both work in diffrent ways and it comes does how you like to do things.

I also wanted to say that if you install Logistics Pipes, I *think* there's a way to do what you describe.
