they look like thaumcraft nodes as seen by goggles, or the vis orbs that mobs drop when you kill them and can be absorbed with wands as i understand it.
they're vis drops from mobs. if you have a thaum wand in your hotbar, you gain small amounts of each primal vis from those orbs, depending on the colours
I was gonna say, "Those are cool-looking floor blocks from the Chisel 2 mod", but...

I used a skeleton spawner, eventually adding a zombie and blaze spawner to charge up my wands prior to crafting a manasteel entwined livingwood wand (I haven't killed a Gaia Spirit yet to allow me to upgrade to elementium/dreamwood...that's on the to-do list in the next day or so.)
You'll never believe what is behind me...With the explanation above, get yourself a witch farm, never have to hunt for nodes again
