It's a WIP thing. industrial TNT won't work on it, so you'll have to equal trade it to get it's pretty blocks.

and dull shards are used for a pretty storage block, just like xycoridite is for a blast resistant block.

dull shards are also useful for making wands... wand of equal trade for 1 dull and 3 vis shards is effectively 25% less expensive than 4 vis shards.

The blocks are especially hard to break last time I checked so it wouldn't be the best way to gather them.

Have you seen what's coming with xycraft? It might be useless in its current release, but that's getting a bit stale.

The gaunlet doesn't impress me, the mod DW spotlighted a bit ago looks far better. The power system is meh... Just more fluff. I cannot stand the textures he uses for his blocks, I also got tired of being spammed with them... My worlds have been infested with ore.

In my most recent world I have removed it from the Mindcrack pack. I wont be adding it back regardless of any additions.

Lol, I could swear that the mod's bein' developed by EA games . It's literally made to be popular/mainstream. With lots of bling bling and bang bang and zoom whosh and LASERS and colored lights.

Powersuits isn't XYCraft.

XYCraft I believe is more designed to be a tech mod used mainly by itself, and aimed more for a Futuristic look with all it's neon blocks and energy lasers. All the other mods are based more "current age" technology.

other than quartz, I'm really enjoying xycraft... It has some amazing looking blocks, and I'm super excited for the version with tanks/fabricators and all of that "fluff" that looks so amazing!

I do like the XYCraft blocks and ores a lot better now that I've done retextures for them at 64x. At default res, they are a bit of an eyesore.

To be fair, we actually need a new item system. One that doesn't drop items on the ground. (BC), lag the game (RP) and doesn't have prohibative costs (GT)
