i have been playing ftb for a while now, and decided my method of producing RF and storing it.
but after that i realized im sitting on a ton of RF that i dont know how to use.
im using it for simple machines (redstone furnace, pulverize, etc.) but these only consume a small portion of what im producing.
so im asking for suggestions for more complicated systems that consume more energy which can be useful in survival mode.
thank you :D

Install extra utilities and build an ender quarry. If you still have excess rf start adding upgrades. Fortune 3 is like 80x rf usage.

Add a Speed III thing which is also 80x, and they seem to be multiplicative for 64x power usage.

You could also go with the 20k RF/tick MFR Laser drill.

If you have enough you could always convert it to EU and power a Mass Fab, scanner, and replicator. Using MFR rednet energy cable (4rf=1eu), you'd only need just over four million RF/tick to power the Mass fab at full speed.

I would first look at configs for the mods you use to produce power, to see if they are using increased values for power production. Mods like Big Reactor use something like 20-30% bonus to power output with the default configs in the FTB packs.

Then there are ofc things like MFR laser drill which is downright the easiest single power sink there is that doesn't completely ruin your game by bringing in ridiculous amounts of materials(it brings in a lot, but still reasonably balanced). Then ofc there is Ender Quarries or QuarryPlus which can be upgraded to use loads of power, but in return nets you insane amounts of materials which might become a bit OP(never enchant your QUarryPlus with Unbreaking!). Other than that, huge ME network(s), lots of BC/forestry machines constantly drawing power(I sometimes deliberately not automate shutting them off now when not in use, simply to have something to spend power on).

Tack on RotaryCraft (if its not present already) and try doing everything with magnetostatic engines? (Except where this is functionally impossible, due to lube requirements.)
