You are talking about a windmill. They are a form of redpower energy, and they produce bluelectric energy.

Information on windmills, and their crafting recipe:

Do you want to set up a server? Will it be public or private? Do you want to set up a private modpack for this server, or do you just want to give the users installation instructions?

this explains how to setup the ftb single player but how to install the mods on multiplayer.

it will be a private server, me and 2 other friends.

a private modpack for the server would be best as they are not the most tech savvy of people.
 
You are going to want to set it up with MultiMC. If you were planning to make a larger server I would tell you to get the mod owners permission, then give instructions for the ones you cannot get permissions for. Except you are making a small server, so you will just want to use MultiMC

thanks, i currently have a 6 gig server with hostlegend.com they use Multicraft backend.
looks like i am going to have to setup my own .jar and mods folder through ftp that way.

hey hope you are still there.

having a problem with direwolf20.

so i have my friend online

"i am op"

now i have added him to whitelist with the ingame commands and refreshed the whitelist

but if he still cant remove any blocks, like its spawn protected "he is wayyyy out of spawn area"

i have also tried turning whitelist off.

if i /op him he can remove blocks.

he he types in chat he is under the user "guests" but i do not know how to change that.

any ideas?
 
Sounds like a plugin config. I don't have much experience with plugins. Considering there will be so few people online, and that they are your friends you should op them as a temporary solution. What plugins do you have installed?
