Who is flan.

And I only want the plane ._.
Flan is the maker of flan's mod (that one mod that's been around forever that adds planes, cars, guns, things of that sort.)
You only want the one plane? But what's the fun in not having many? D:

Let's see, what I would do? I would cut down on the randomness in the FTB packs and try to be more focused. Like have one pack dedicated to the idea of "set up a base and play around in your base" and one Dedicated to Exploration. Granted, some of the mods in the former pack I can think of require exploration, but the majority will be simple sitting at your base coming up with fun contraptions.

NewWorldModPack does encourage exploration with Millenaire and metallurgy(its fun having Tartarite or ShadowIron armor). [Sorry, plug]

I would like to see a pack with no ic2 or dedicated addons. The mod is pretty stale and well most people had it because of gregtech, and with that whole fiasco recently I really don't want to see gregtech in any packs.
I would absolutely love to see UE mods integrated into a more mainstream pack, but I think they need more balancing against other mods before they are ready. Maybe they will have that worked out by the time we actually get mainstream 1.6 packs.[DOUBLEPOST=1374259675][/DOUBLEPOST]

Isn't ICBM actually broke up into 3 parts, each with different parts of the mod? If that's the case, you could just use the turret part. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Well, just checked, and indeed, it's 3 parts. Must admit, never visited the downloads page. Hmmm, options now. Damn you, just has I thought I had the pack complete :D
to have UE mods and optifine actually friggin work with eachother.
I really like the UE mods, but I can't give up on optifine
Agreed, and whenever it get's mentioned on the MC topic, it's always ignored.

You know, since I jumped the shark and added the UE mods to my personal modpack (yes I have ic2 still in the mix. I couldn't possibly live without it! Plus you can use eu and UE power interchangeably most of the time. And eu and UE are the same word but in different orders!), I've actually been thinking of adding metallurgy 3 in 1.6, to make it more big-dig esque. I don't make quarries or ore sorting and processing systems anymore because almost the instant after I make them I lose interest in the world. Plus I can almost never get diamond pipes to sort all the ores, ESPECIALLY not when I add metallurgy.

I fell in love with Railcraft in part because of coke coal.

1.6 vanilla coal blocks are really cool to me (probably more so than horses, but don't hate me for that). I like that they smelt the same as 10 coal, but only cost 9 coal to make.

So the thing I would really want is to be able to place a coal block in a coke oven and get a coke coal block. This item would smelt the same as 10 coke coal, but could be made from 9 coke coal.

Okay everyone, tell what you want and explain why.

Don't know if this was said yet, but I'm pretty sure your coal coke block was added in the 152wgt pack. So I'm very sure it is already in RailCraft.

"what one addition or change"... But there are too many. :(

I guess if I had to go for a single change, I'd probably go for adding Smart Moving. I love being able to scale walls and crawl or megaman powerslide through 1 block tall tunnels. I went without it so long because of server play, but now that I'm back on SSP, it's just that handy.

In all packs I would like to see if bspkr's mods could be in by default, as I am sure people will love them.

Direction HUD probably wouldn't be usefull with a map mod like Voxel Map, but ArmourStatusHUD and StatusEffectHUD would be convenient for some people. I know with the IC2 electric armour, it would be convenient to always be able to see how much power you have in your armour.

MFR helps a lot with that. You have a conveyor run over the Item Routers and have some kind of big chest at the end. Everything which was not configured into an Item Router will appear in that chest. This tells you exactly is not being sorted by the rest of the system. Even if you don't use the metals for tools and armor, the bricks and blocks are very stylish.
