So for a long time I played dirwolf. Now i'm coming back and not sure what I want to play, which one is the best. I'll be playing on a server, hopefully one without lots of stuff disabled or much pvp. So, which one should I use, which is the most stable for online play? I would prefer it have ars magica and big reactors(big reactors was in a tekkit back I played, I'm not sure if its ftb at all)

Blood n bones is pretty good. Very introductory for 1.6 packs!

AgrSkies is only really fun if you like a linear style of playing. If you don't, it gets really boring really fast. At least that's what I noticed when I tried to play it.
Well maybe you didnt play enough. Coz ya, the start is really boring and sometimes gets frustrating, but later... Thats when I got addicted *starts telling a story*. xD

Ehm. I'd prefer my whole playthrough be not-boring...

Like I said, I don't like linear gameplay. I also don't like the Ex mods in general (Ex Nihilo, Ex Aliquo, etc.)so that may be a problem with trying to play AgrSkies/Crash Landing/whatever

Since you have been away for a while, I would recommend magic world 2. It's a bit more forgiving that most of the other troll recommendations in the previous posts and doesn't have a crap ton of mods in it. Also, the mods it does have don't interact with each other, so you can go gung ho with one, or dabble in a few. It's your choice.

Wait... Shut the hell up. Modpack doesnt have to have a "crap ton of mods" to be good. I remember when hexxit was popular and it didnt have so many mods... Now people are just hungry for amount of mods or something?

You seem to be misunderstanding what @netmc was saying... He(?) was saying that it doesn't have a crap ton of mods in it, which is good, especially since OP is just coming back to the game.

I second this. Magic World 2 is awesome, as I said in my other post :p
