what made this hole?

trying to figure out what made this hole? i play on a muti player server with few people so if its player (which it probably is) i want to know what made it

P.s. could it have been a meteor or something?

Yup, AE meterotites can make a lot of those weird holes. I think the random generation used is pretty clever and vary widely often create pretty nice looking formations. This one would be the deepest I saw up until now. But I keep seeing the "widest", "narowest", "horizontalest", "hottest" all the time so i'm pretty sure if you bring a meteorite compass you'll find one there.

If u get sucked in i would say there is a hungry node. Doesnt really look like a hole made by a AE2 meteor, those are way smoother

As far as I know, a hungry node does not make that large hole. I also don't think that it an AE2 meteor. Probably a nuke or something similar?
