What is this "Thing" in ftb revelations?

I was playing with my friends, one of them started to do magic mods, botania and thaumcraft in the newest version of the ftb revelations modpack, and suddenly this thing spawned:

From which mod is this and how do I delete this?

You're actually the third person I've seen post about this today
Since I don't know the actual answer to your question, I'll just refer you to the other folks. I gather it has to do with flux/taint getting out of control in your chunks.
