What is this mysterious red liquid?

So I was messing around in creative mode with mystcraft. Upon generating an age, I saw a huge ocean of some pulsating red liquid. Dropped into survival to bucket it up to see what it was, when suddenly the whole ocean exploded! NEI tells me its Omni Power Fluid from Dynamic Tanks 2, but I was unable to find any information on it. Any idea on what it is and why it explodes?

it's a new liquid from Dynamic Tanks, that's as much as I can tell you
if there's no information about it at the Dynamic Tanks topic/website, then that means it's that new
