Hey all,
I am planning to buy a FTB server with 4 slots for my friend group. But i searched the whole internet for a good price and server performance but can't find a good one.

Do you guys know a good server host that provides Good server performance and a good price?

Greetings,
Jeroen.

The basic Multiplay package with a RAM upgrade (to 1 Gig) has been fine for us, however there are only 2 of us and you will have 4. You might need more memory and/or processing power depending on the amount of machinery/chunk loaders etc. The price starts jumping up as you increase the RAM. As far as service goes, we've used them for voice servers for a long time and the service is reliable, communication is almost perfect and support is good.

Chekked out creeperhost already ?

My experience with CreeperHost has been pretty good so far. Relatively lag free, and they have a pretty powerful control panel. You can also get your server up and running with any FTB pack by just choosing which pack you want from a list, so it's perfect if you're not used to running a server. Personally, I just used WinSCP and did it myself.

My only complaint is that the control panel is a little on the slow side, and lacks some functionality that I was used to from McMyAdmin (like automatic early morning restarts if the server is empty).

EDIT: Forgot to mention that if for whatever reason your server crashes while you're away, "CreeperGuard" will take care of getting your server back online. Which is pretty awesome lol.

Changed, we updated some software and hardware on the control panels, re-opened the Atlantic CP for American users and we have automatic restarts or whatever the hell you want ;)
