Pretty straightforward, what do you find fun to do in FTB?
e.g. I like to use as much vanilla minecraft as possible.

The first few hours of a world are the most fun. I get a starter house built, I go mining, cut trees, it's very cathartic.

I love to mutate bees. Especially when i have spiecies which can make non renewable items like uranium or apatite. Automating everything with AE and when i have tons of resources i like to build big buildings and make everything looks nice and clean.

Same with the bees, love hitting them up, I've got the time but find myself groaning because of how much work it all takes to get all those things going, tho this time was easier as I had the bees themselves providing 2 semi-hard aspects to get and only an apiary giving those to me

Meh.. I really hate bees. They don't appeal to me.

Meh.. I really hate bees. They don't appeal to me.

The reward to work ratio pays off for itself and with the newest version of NEI it actually shows you how to breed them which is pretty easy unlike before where I had to discover every bee out there... I'd say 100% easier for you younglings ;p

Honestly I always try to head the bees route as I usually am short one material and with a bit of breeding I can get them going, lastly I'd say It's an easy way to get their aspects which for me usually are hardcore and with a bit of automation usually pays for itself even if you dont use them you can always produce them in greater numbers as a renewable source of recycler materials..

I like exploring with the different mod tools & weapons in tow. I really like mixing the Armor types and seeing how much trouble I can get into. I also enjoy searching for dungeons, loot, and unique items.

If I have hour to play, I could seriously use it just looking for something like a tigerwood tree.

And building. Not so much gadget building, but cool structures.

Coding my own automation and useful programs via ComputerCraft, as well as automating with AE.. with a bit of beekeeping on the side.

I currently have a GUI (thanks to the Terminal Glasses upgrade to the Modular Powersuit) which tells me exactly how much MJ and EU my systems have, as well as telling me the ingame time. Golden Clocks are oldschool!

Also, making ComputerCraft-based awesomes. Back in Tekkit, I made a pretty neat casino with it, and in DW20 1.4.7 I made a nice little lift system.

Shame I only actually USED two of the floors in my tower, because the lift actually took you to 5.

What I find fun when playing FTB (or modded minecraft in general)? The options. I enjoy breeding trees and bees, I enjoy looking for new biomes to build in, I enjoy seeing world gen structures added by mods. I usually only play modded minecraft because I can still do the vanilla things if I want to. If I get a little bored because my quarries and farms are doing everything I set up manual farms. Once I've made sustainable power and vast storage networks I set my sights on improving vanilla things. Instead of a typical ender farm I experiment with mods to see how I can do it differently. If I'm in the mood to build I love the fact that I have so many new blocks, various colors, and now I have microblocks back. For me the best part of modded is that I can play the game and if I think "I'd really like this, or I wish this was more difficult" I can probably find a mod for it. A few weeks ago I was looking at my farms and thought "I want something other than potatoes and vanilla crops" now I've got HarvesCraft and GrowthCraft and working on a manual farm build :)

Some of the things I always enjoy in modded is making storage systems, automating everything, autocrafting and finding new uses for mods. Also seeing 1.6.2 and now the previews for 1.7, I've realized I can keep my world going a little longer than usual, I have Simply Horses, Zombie Awareness, and biome mods to take care of the new updates until I'm ready to move on to a new world :)

I think I rambled a little there, but that's what I enjoy when playing FTB (or any modded) minecraft :p
