What are current 1.9.4 / 1.10.2 client-side interface mods?

So what is the state of 1.10.2 client-side mods for improving the UI / feedback?

The "classic" mods of this type from 1.7.10 are NEI/waila and all those add-ons, In-game-info, fog nerf, minimaps, and zoom mods. What are the mods like this that are ready for 1.9.4 and 1.10.2?

I believe that The One Probe provides similar functionality to WAILA, and JEI has you covered for NEI; is that helpful at all?

It is. Now, is there a way to zoom in / set the field-of-view down to about 5 or 6?
