So, GPuzzle's game has been dead for a while now, so I thought I might as well revive the whole werewolf thing.

There are three roles, the Villager, the Host, and the Parasite Queen.

All but one player is a villager. The other is the queen. At the start of every day, the parasite chooses a new villager to become a host. Once you become a host, you can never become a host again. You win by living until the parasite is dead.

The Host is the villager currently infected by the Parasite. You will be the host for one day. During that day, you must choose someone to kill. If you do not, you die instead of another villager, and the parasite chooses another host. If you reveal that you are the host, then you will be eaten by the Parasite and it will choose a new host. When you are the Host, nobody knows that you are the host but the Queen. When the parasite leaves the host, it is plainly seen that you were a host. The Host may also have a special condition during its residency, for example "you must have "wolf" or "werewolf" somewhere in each post or be eaten." If you fail to meet this requirement, then at the end of the day, the parasite will eat you. If a host is lynched, then the parasite dies with the host and the living villagers win. Since the parasite is its own being, it cannot really win. If the host is the last villager alive, then it becomes a queen, killing the villager in the process.

The Queen is a parasite that has taken permanent residence in a host. The queen always knows where its children are and what they have to do. She is the guiding force behind her baby's jumping, and if you kill her, then the parasite stops jumping and takes permanent residence. The queen wins by being alive when the Parasite is coronated. You are safe from being eaten and infected. However, if you are targeted for eating, the Host will know what you are.

We need at least 10 players to start. If you have any questions, ask them now. The game will start 12 AM GMT Saturday if we get enough players.

What if we vote to kill someone, but they wind up killing themselves anyway?

What if we vote to kill someone, but they wind up killing themselves anyway?
Another thing for this. In this situation, the host will be killed and the survivors win. If the lynch lands on someone else, then the parasite eats the host and move on to a new one.

I feel as though that is a bit broken. A host could reveal themself, and insta-die by lightning, and the parasite would also die and the game would be half over. It would be simpler for you to shove a role in there that wants to be killed or benefits from having lynch votes.

If the parasite lives after the host dies, then the survivors can never win.

Just plot holes. Or something.

Let me be more clear. If the host reveals himself, then the parasite panics and kills the host and hops to a new one. After the host kills someone, the parasite leaves them alive and everyone knows who it was, and therefore that person is safe. The second half of the post is in direct response to dwappo's post.

And you did make me realize something. The game is a bit uninteresting. I am introducing a role: parasite queen. A parasite has taken permanent residence in a host and will be trying to help the hopping parasite along its journey. The queen does not kill, wins with the parasite, and the two parasites know where each other is through psychic radar whatzits.

And something I failed to mention: sometimes, a host will be required to do a specific thing, for example, the teen wolf requirement of having to include wolf in each post somewhere.

Eh, I'm in. I'll add it to the compendium after the OP is a little cleaner. Like it said something about no roles, but then mentioned roles. If you could clean it up a tad, or even make it into a nice list, that would be great.
