Weird xytank glitch

Anyone else seen this before? I never have.

I wonder if this also affects RC tanks.

Can you see the oil from different angles/ distances at all? Minecraft hides entities that are off the screen, even partly, so I'm guessing that's what's happening.

Well, the glitch has gone now, but when it was still here the oil was invisible from every angle, including when it was wholly on the screen.

What pack and version are you using?

I'm using the 1.4.7 ultimate pack, version 1.1.2.

Yeah, I've seen that before. Doesn't seem to actually do anything bad, it's purely a graphical glitch, and it goes away eventually.

Ours have done that before as well. It's mostly graphical unless you fill the tank up and then try to input more liquid. Then it causes some issues, because the whole tank glitches out and leaves the liquid texture standing. Servers tend to have a hard time with that part of it.
