OS: Windows 8.1
Server hosting: I'm using the Tech World 2 server downloaded off the site, and running it from my laptop.
FTB version:Launcher v1.33, Modpack is Tech World 2 v1.0.6
Other Mods: Project Red
My problem is that in updating the server, when trying to copy the world file over to the updated one, the server will start, go through it's start-up, and as soon as it's done prepping the world, it immediately begins eating CPU, and becomes unresponsive, although at it's icon on the task bar, a second preview- window get's generated; it has no name and the image is a java watermark on a gray background, but it isn't anything I can interact with, it's the first window, my server the second, then the server application flickers, and the windows have switched places.. It doesn't crash, so there is no crash-report to give. It just keeps doing that and eating CPU.
I imagine that some files in the world folder were changed in the update, and just straight up copying it in isn't the best idea. So I imagine that I need to copy in just the bare minimum of files in order to get it going.
Copying over data, DIM1, DIM-1, DIM20, DIM-100, players, and region still triggers the problem, though.
So, what do?
UPDATE: It looks like it was bdlib, binnie's mods, and/or gendustry from the update interacting badly with Project Red.
I'm not sure which of the three it was, yet.
