Weird Mouse bug Maybe? Direwolf20 pack

This is kinda hard to explain. If I have a tool in my hand everything is completely normal but if I try to do something empty handed (punch wood, dig dirt or sand) I can't. If I hold down mouse 1 with an empty hand nothing really happens. And I can't remove things from barrels but I can put things in them.

I'm assuming I just hit something on my keyboard and turned something off but I can't figure out what.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you in adventure mode? Check NEI and see if you accidentally switched yourself while trying to get to Survival. Adventure mode is between Creative+ and Survival.

Yep, that was the problem. Weird, I'm not even sure how that happened. Thanks a lot!
