Weird map gen?

I am new to the MC mod world and I'm not sure if this is one of the map gen feature...
please feel free to create the world with seed "lets play FTB" without quotations
coordinates at around +3350 +2750
There it has a very odd pattern and stretch for miles...
Gonna create a server with that seed but if it is a bug then I'd rather create another world with a different seed....

I haven't seen its end yet... but after passing that odd part I've never seen any land no more up to some +8000 +8000 coordinates o_O

Yea I started just going and it's not looking good. I also tried it with my 1.4.6 setup and the generation is the same... Can't say I would recommend that seed because this is really off...[DOUBLEPOST=1356211912][/DOUBLEPOST]the marshland strip isn't even counted as marshland. It shows ocean in F3 so it shouldn't even be there.

it might have been a ocean but due to the way xtrabiomesxl gens the world based on the seed. It must have confused things like this. kinda like how when you use Worldedits regen on a map generated in a older version of MC. same seed different biome.

My Magic World world ended up with parts like that on it, Its like playing crazy parkour trying to get across it in the water lol. I ended up staying on the world because of the plains with like 4 greatwood tree's within 30 blocks in like a giant square pattern (one had the cobwebs/spawner at its base). As Nanakisan said, its very odd, but pretty neat. Also looks like some kinda underwater maze when seeing it through Rei's lol.

never seen this before... it seems to stretch in all water between x 3350 and 3400 for over 4000 blocks north/south... I'm going to guess it goes on forever, but following it to where it ends might show some other cool bug... or it could just be normal
