Nauseating GUI glitches and random images/sprites/words flashing on screen during game play.​

Aside from these common errors, I also get many large objects that show up periodically, regardless of if I am in a menu. These objects include, but are not limited to, grey circles, hieroglyphic shaped objects, random squares of color, warping sections of the game

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I am running the game on a powerful computer. I have an i7 at 2.6ghz and an Nvidia 870m GPU. I have not other problems with any games, including other java based games.

Do you have optifine installed?

Not unless it comes preinstalled with FTB. I don't know how to install it for modded launchers like ftb or tekkit.
