Weird crash when mining (some) NetherOres

  • Tech Support section is for getting help with FTB related problems. If there's a repeatable issue that can be labeled as a bug, then please use the issue tracker for the pack or the app at GitHub issue trackers - If there's no repository for a pack that means that the pack is old and/or will not be updated. Bugs for older packs will not be fixed, unless they are critical.

Title:
Weird crash when mining (some) NetherOres
Launcher Version:
1.4.11
Modpack:
Custom Pack
Modpack Version:
Log Link:
Details of the issue:
So far I've only seen it when mining nether gold, nether iron, or nether silver (coal and ferrous are fine?), but I haven't actually ventured into the nether much simply because of this crash. It crashes as soon as the block breaks, survival or creative.

I notice it mentions something about "digging particles" or something, and I'll mention that certain blocks and ores have been displaying the wrong particles when breaking, but I'm not sure how related that is.

Thanks for the help!

I'm experiencing what I believe to be the same crash.

Details of the issue:
Error has occured multiple times when mining nether ores. Also seems to be triggered by Thaumcraft hungry nodes affecting nether ores.

Spent about 5 hours testing this today by stripping mods from the pack and adding them back in one at a time. I'm working on a pack with about 100 mods, and the crash does not occur while having them all active except for ProjectRed. When running solely with ProjectRed and Nether Ores the crash does not occur.

I'm getting the crash to occur with just COFH Core, Nether Ores, and Custom Items.

Disabling ore priming in Nether Ore's config is a fine temp work around.

But it makes me sad.
