We should be able to ride in pipes.

New idea. Propulsion System. If one would like to go faster without outside intervention, one may equip a Pneumatic Player Controllable Booster by placing it in a special slot inside the Pneumatic Player Shrinker Pipe.
You may also add Pneumatic Player Speed Booster Upgrades to the pipe. There will be different levels of it, each with a different Speed Boost. When the Upgrade is added, the pipe will have an inventory so that you can add the various upgrades more easily and remove them.
EDIT: In the condition of having a pipe with a gate or built-in inventory, the GUI will have a place in the corner for the upgrade slots.

I was thinking more of the ducting system in Portal and Portal 2 
That was a fun ride. And there was a place in Portal when you could place a portal, ride the ducts, place the other portal, walk through the portal, and then ride the duct again and again and again
