So while I've been tinkering with the newer packs, I noticed that the lack of Xycraft and RP2 has cut off my normal way of filling buckets with different fluids automatically, and other than a dispenser, which only works with placable fluids, I dont know any other routes to accomplish this. I was wondering what clever methods you guys have come up with!

I know turtles could work but I'd prefer not to rely on them, because i don't yet know them yet, and I'm saving that for later =D

Fun Fact: Creosote oil burns for ~13k eu in a generator, while only 3k in a semi fluid generator.

I'm on unleashed pack with gregtech added in.

NOT ON TOPIC :
actually if you use powerconvertors and burn creosote oil in a biomass engine you get 100.000 EU

ON TOPIC :
redpower was an easy solution altough AE has added something that can do that (not sure)

Thaumic Tinkerer tool dynism (sp?) maybe?
It can right click with whatever you give it. Maybe it can be interacted with by pipes/AE?

Does the pack you're playing with have Logisitics pipes? It does this insanely well. But also note that you need to do it less than before because of the MFR liquicrafter.

Grrrrrr. Must resist flame war starting material about lousy design.

Any particular reason why you need filled buckets? It would help if we knew what exactly you needed these buckets for and what they need to be filled with.

As mentioned above, use the liquid transposer, but instead of buckets, use cells. Regular beeswax capsules can store most liquids, and refractory wax capsules can store the hot stuff. If you can get decent magic wax production going, magic capsules hold twice as much, I think. I suggest these because they stack, even when full of liquids. The downside is they are typically consumed when they are emptied, but not like it's hard to get more.

A lot of machines can fill capsules/buckets themselves. It's just the emptying that starts to get difficult. ;)
