I set two waypoints and both are dozens of blocks away from the point I set them. They listed the correct coordinate when I set them, but immediately changed when I viewed the set coordinates. Deleting and resetting them doesn't work and neither does editing them.

How can this be fixed? I don't want to set a waypoint on solid ground only to find out I teleported into lava.

Sounds like your using map writer or Zan's both do not understand nether 8:1 ratio for coordinates. There is no fix other then to use a diffrent map mod like Rei's or Journy map.

just a few questions to try and get some more information. are you using a modpack? if so, which one and which version? if not, which Minecraft version are you playing and which mod version have you installed? I'm asking this because if I remember right, in 1.5 if you tried to set a waypoint in the nether with zan, it'd automatically also have it so you could see it in the overworld, but this setting was changed in 1.6

try setting it so the waypoint only shows up for that specific dimension

As soon as I go into the waypoint gui, it shows my coordinates as x=224, z=112, y=123. Where I'm actually standing is x=28, z=14, y=124.

Changing those coordinates doesn't work at all, and neither does changing in which world it's shown.

that sounds like something is pretty messed up. my suggestion is to make a topic about this in the support category of this forum, they'll be able to help you much better then we can

What is the current version of the mod pack? My pack never updated and it's listed as 1.1.3.

That's the recommended one to use, right? The others are Beta?

Idk if you still care but I just multiplied the coordinates it shows on the mini map and multiply by 8 (exclude your y coordinate).

Considering it was 4 years ago, Unleashed hasn't been a current pack for a very long time and that some of the map mods mentioned don't even exist any longer, he probably doesn't care.
