Waypoint Question

When I go 1k away from the waypoint it is gone. It only shows up on the mini map. Anyone know a way to make the range larger or is this stuck this way. It's not a huge deal but its much easier in the twilight, due to all the way points I make. I have to remember which color is my return portal or turn other ones off.

Anyone? Also, on my SMP world, my waypoints don't show up (only two of them). Could someone direct me to the file that the waypoints are stored in?

Does the waypoint have like a beam of light upwards?

Yeah, they do. Relogging fixed my issue, but I haven't tested it further.

then those are from VoxelMap, I personally use Rei's because the voxel one is more cheaty/laggier, so sorry, can't help you with that.

Is rei's client side only or does it have to be enabled on the server too. We are just running ultimate no other mods.
