Way to Upgrade Gravity Gun to a Supercharged one

didn't think of that either, and it's quite easy to do considering crafting a supercharged one costs a wither star, so I wouldn't be surprised if there'd be a fix for this to prevent this from happening...
but I don't really like the supercharged gun anyways, it's way too strong and if you're not careful you'll be redesigning your whole landscape

Yeah neither would I, but yeah I was just messing around with it, thats how I got it, not a big fan of supercharged guns either, but meh :)

Then put your supercharged gravity gun in Twilight Forest's uncrafting table to get the nether star.

You can also find the Charged Mystcraft page, or the Eternal Storm one, and you're bound to eventually get hit by Lightning and get the Supercharged gravity gun.

This is, of course, much more 100% guaranteed :D
