Recently I installed RWG mod, and Streams mod. They work very well together since the streams generate with mountains, mesas, and valleys. The only problem is that in cold biomes, the water used to make the river freezes, and messes up the landscape. Are there any mods that prevent water from freezing.

you can always place a block somewhere above the water source block. This should keep it from freezing. It's a vanilla mechanic that makes it freeze.

the problem is that it freezes while it gets generated if I read it correctly

he mentioned the source blocks as the issue, if the flowing parts are an issue also... I don't know.

The flowing water is naturaly generated by the streams mod. Yes I can place a block above it to prevent freezing, but loading the land for the first time automatically freezes it.
