Problem [WARNING] Can't keep up! Did the system time change, or is the server overloaded?

i am running a minecrack server with the mystcraft mod added. curently the server is spamming this message every few seconds even when no on is online. i recently stoped and backed up the server because its spamming this message a dozen times a minute. even when i restart the server and no one is online within a second it starts spamming the same message.

yesterday i started getting a lot of block lagg even when i am only 5 feet from the server.

curently connection to the server is through tunngle and hamachi.
when i try to set the server ip to the machines ip address from my comcast xfinity cable modem it says the ip port 25565 is not available and being used bye another server. i tried changing the port but get the same message.
i would like to get rid of tunngle and hamachi so people can join directly.
i have a 50 mbos download rate and 10 mbps upload rate so my lagg is not from the conection speed.

I am getting the same thing and now the FTB server just shuts down for no reason, been getting alot of error in linux pointing to the directory the server is running from?

uGH This is harmless, it happens to every server, even vanilla. There is too many things happening and the server is hanging a bit behind. It is simply saying, "Woah, Woah, Woah! Dude, slow down!"

I was getting this alot also.... my problem is that up until now my server ran smoothly, its a old machine, but it was getting the job done. (Quadcore Q6600, 8gb ram.) .... I have a Mindcrack V7 server running for 1 month now and its just for me and a couple buddy's.... yesterday i didn't upgrade de server version, and/or change anything... now i'm getting terrible lag... one of my buddy's logged in and wasn't enable to see me at all. I did a completely new server, reboot the machine and the interwebz, nothing.. i'm getting the same lag..

I guess is something to do with Java... and i don't know what.

I guess i have to rent one or play in a payed hosted server. I just don't get it... what changed...

not sure if that's a problem on your side, could be some other stuff overflowing the connections. If it ran fine without changing anything (unless someone skrewed up something on the world) it should keep running fine.

All the server creations are actually mine, my buddys just come along and help a learn a little... they are vannila players.. they don't get much of techincal stuff.
What i could possibly change? Sunday i made a Chiken Egg farm... to a hole, catch the eggs with obsidian pipes then store them into barrels... the odd thing i saw there was 4 exclamation marks in each side of the number of eggs inside the barrels.
Another thing i changed was to do with biofuel pipes to 3 engines.. i wanted to upgrade to 6... and when i was doing that... we came across that problem. At that time i was playing in the server's network, and one of my friends wasn't.. i could see him, e couldn't see me... or .. he could see me but only the position i was 20 seconds to 40 before .... its hard to explain when i don't know the proper words.

Then, they had trouble with block breaking... and that kind of lag... inside my network i was fine. Is that something to do with my internet? i have 120mbits down... and 8 mbits up.

lets atleast make a new tread indeed, if inside the network everthing is fine it aint the server atleast it's the internet connection / router. Did you try a restart of the router? i know i have to reboot mine onces a month with all the connections i'm having on my 3 servers

I can't help but the barrel having the !!!! is from having more than 64 stacks and is just a bit of a warning not to break the barrel without removing the items first.

I'm getting this same issue on mine. I had to take my server down for a few days over the patch date (so my server isn't patched yet) and now when I get into it, massive lag (not network related, verified 1 Gbps inside the network to the server) and these messages where there weren't any before. CPU is not at load, RAM isn't full. Don't know exactly what the issue is.
