Want To Disable the Log Files

hi , ive been running this server on a pretty good machine only for that purpose. and after a day of gaming i need to reboot the server due to the humongus log file. i tried the ''bukkit'' solution . put the log.server file into ''read alone'' but it only creates another one server.log.1 discarding the original one...

Im not really familiar with Java but ii would like to try something to able to play without that crazy lag we get after hours of playing. ^^ even if its a little bit. worth trying it ^^

The logfile should only be a few KB big, did you already check whats in the logfiles? Prob alot of errors.

ps and you don't want to disable the logfiles. No logfiles = no debugging incase the server keeps crashing

It's probably the IC2 API debug spam that is causing your log files to grow.

I'm having this problem. It caused me already a 126Mb logfile in SSP... Is there a way to disable the log in SSP? Or at least the IC2 energy API (it keeps spamming the console and the logfile with some nonsense about all my IC2 machines getting EU despite not asking for it... Oo)
