Villager Fun

Ok - so I was busy creating new houses for my villagers to breed and decided the best way to traverse was portals.....ended up creating a white/black portal between my house and the village. Turns out, the villagers used it and ended up in my house. I believe the result is that, for each villager who travels to my house, another villager replaces it.

I.E. - Portals plus more houses in villages can equal more breeding? I'm not complaining. Here's the little dude hanging at my house.

i think the villagers spawn one per each door. i don't sour if when they are going away from that door another villager will spawn.

They spawn relative to the village - the they come out of the portal nowhere near the village, the ratio of villagers to doors should drop and the game should balance it out.

fun with villagers? surely such a thing is a paradox... villagers can't be fun...

y'know what's fun with villagers? go make a building covered with doors with several floors, and connect each floor with a trapdoor and ladders, and ofcourse chunkload the chunk.
a day later I came back to find 8000 villagers with about 7500 villagers humping the ladders...
